Product Description

The chief benefit of the PVC cards is the ability to use vibrant colours to make your branding pop. Take advantage of this functionality by getting a professional design to print on these cards. If you are not comfortable with design tools, then enlist the services of a professional designer to design something worthy of your brand. For the best results, use professional design software such as Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, or Illustrator. Also, ensure that your closed artwork file respects all the items on the checklist for closing your artwork. If you are not comfortable with the respective design software, we recommend you employ the services of a design professional. This is crucial, as a poor design can, in fact, harm the overall impact of your cards and brand.

Our Services We offer a number of options for you to configure your plastic PVC cards in terms of finishes and additional extras, to ensure your plastic PVC cards meet your needs. Material 076 PVC (Polyvinyl Chloride) is the standard ISO credit card thickness. This material ensures a long-lasting quality finish and professional look.

We do offer the option to include a magnetic strip with or without encoding, but we don’t offer cards with chip technology or RFID as yet.

Yes we do. You can request design services for your cards by sending an email to support@printulu.co.za to get a quote. Remember to specify what medium you are using so we can perfect the design for your cards.

Bleed is the area around your artwork that is trimmed off. This allows your design to look as if it was printed to the edge, even when the cutting alignment was slightly off. Your bleed should always extend to at least 3mm.

Plastic cards have a long intertwined history, used as credit cards, access cards, loyalty cards, membership cards and more. These all share a common ancestor, being the charge card. The charge card served the dual function of being a transactional card, like today's credit cards and gift cards, as well as loyalty cards like today's loyalty, and membership cards. Business cards have also adopted the PVC medium, providing some competition to the premium 350gsm soft touch lamination card (which we also offer).
