We offer a number of options for you to configure your booklets for both the cover page and the inside pages. This is in terms of format, the number of pages, paper, refinements and colour to make your booklets your own. Paper 80gsm bond paper is the usual paper used in your office printer. This paper is perfect for printing inside pages that are mostly text-based. 100gsm paper is popular paper used for inside pages. The low cost and good quality make it suitable for displaying text and illustrations about your business, products, and services. 128gsm paper is slightly more premium than 100gsm paper. Use this if you want a slightly more premium feel for your booklets. 170gsm paper is the best choice for giving your inside pages a premium finish. This is suitable for booklets printed as special editions or annual reports. You can also use this to print suitable cover pages. 250gsm paper gives your booklet covers a strong and premium feel. 250gsm paper is great if you want booklets that are more robust against folds and worn edges and represent the premium appeal of your brand. 350gsm paper is our most premium paper. Due to its strong and solid touch, it creates an impression of the utmost quality and durability.

We don’t offer leather bound covers. However, you can configure your cover pages to be a heavier paper than your inside pages.

Bleed is the area around your artwork that is trimmed off. This allows your design to look as if it was printed to the edge, even when the cutting alignment was slightly off. Your bleed should always extend to at least 3mm.

The history of booklets is as old as writing on paper. This started with tablets, scrolls, and sheets of papyrus. What immediately predates the bound multi-page books we know today are handbound, and sometimes handwritten, codices which could only be afforded by the ultra-wealthy. Thanks to the invention of the printing press, introduced to us by Johannes Gutenberg, many have access today to a plethora of books at reasonable costs. These advancements in mass production techniques also enabled businesses to print booklets showcasing their goods and services.
