Printulu recommends making sure that your brochures and booklets are printed in high quality. The professional brochure maker should put considerable thought into their layout and design to bring the story of their business to life. The basic content of brochures should include your company name and logo, products and service illustrations, as well as descriptions. It is also important to include contact details such as the company’s address, email address, telephone numbers and website address.
For the best results, use professional design tools such as Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, or Illustrator. Ensure that your saved artwork file adheres to all the items on our checklist. If you are not comfortable with the respective design software, we recommend making use of our professional in-house design services. We can even create brochure templates to assist you!

Do you offer hardcovers, leather-bound covers, and other custom covers?
We don’t offer leather bound covers. However, you can request that your cover page is a higher weighted paper than your inside pages. Send a request to email@example.com with your cover and inside page requirements.
Can you print my book or magazine?
Our standard offering is up to 96 pages. We can print anything within those boundaries. However, if you have relatively complex requirements such as more pages, different covers and finishes, you can email firstname.lastname@example.org and one of our customer service consultants will process your request accordingly.
What is “bleed”?
Bleed is the area around your artwork that is trimmed off. This allows your design to look as if it was printed to the edge, even when the cutting alignment was slightly off. Your bleed should always extend to at least 3mm.
The history of brochures can be traced back to the history of writing and paper. This started with tablets, scrolls, and sheets of papyrus. While these items were not used for displaying businesses products and services, as far as we know. What immediately predates the bound multi-page books we know today were handbound, and sometimes handwritten, codices which could only be afforded by the ultra-wealthy.
Thanks to the invention of the printing press, introduced to us by Johannes Gutenberg, many have access, today, to a plethora of books at reasonable costs - even sometimes free. These advancements in mass production techniques also enabled the business to print booklets showcasing their goods and services. We now live in a world where the brochure has evolved into the website, and the hard or softcover has evolved into the ebook and audiobook.
However, a physical takeaway that can physically place your brand and information on the coffee table of the right clients is still a difficult-to-replace marketing tool.
