Product Description

Get your message to your clients and make it last using our signage. Our signage material includes Correx and ABS Board - which will serve your marketing needs in any large format you require.

The Printulu difference: With our modern UV printing technology, we can directly print on the materials. We don’t use vinyls - so we don’t need to mount vinyls on the different board materials. This makes the quality of our signage outstanding and makes it last much longer.

The correx board is the most economical version for outdoor signs. Our ABS Board is slightly more premium and durable and looks nice for both indoor and outdoor use. Get your marketing signs now! The best part? Our standard delivery option is completely free anywhere in South Africa!

Design Guidelines

Signage boards are large and offer a lot of advertising real estate. To maximise their impact, they should be kept as clean and simple as possible. These should be used to landmark your physical presence at your location or at events. Place your brand name, logo and the key message that people should know about on these signs. You can also add some contact details for people who want to look you up or save them for future use (website, telephone number and email at the minimum.)

For the best results use professional design software such as Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, or Illustrator. Use our checklist to ensure that your design is print ready. If you are uncomfortable with the respective design software, try our in-house professional design services. This is crucial, as a poor design can harm the quality of your sign as well as your business and its reputation.

Note that die-cuts for smaller boards have to be approved first in order to ensure cutting quality.

Material

3mm Correx Board is made from polypropylene sheet. Structurally it is an extruded twin-wall sheet with flutes/corrugations used to reinforce the structure. The benefits of correx board are that it will give your signs a robust and lightweight structure at an affordable price, which is ideal for temporary signage or estate agent boards.

0.6mm ABS Board is made from a strong and flexible plastic material that is similar to your PVC plastic card material. This slightly more premium and durable material makes it ideal for creating signage and boards that can be used for both indoor and outdoor branding.

Refinement

Eyelets are the ringed holes punched into the signage boards. With eyelets attached, signs can be hung up anywhere so that your clients notice your marketing message from a distance.

Product History

Signs were born from consumer culture as well as developments in branding and labelling. The earliest uses of signage can be traced back to the Song Dynasty in China and the Ancient Egypt and Rome. The chief use of these signs was to demarcate the physical location of a particular shop or establishment. This traditional use has continued, albeit with newer materials such as ABS and Correx replacing the ancient stone and terracotta.
