Portal Entrance

Printulu’s entrance portals are the perfect way to catch your customer’s eye and educate them on the safety measures necessary for preventing the spread of Coronavirus before entering your establishment.

Brand these information stands and keep them in line with your business’ overall look and feel. Our entrance portals are available in C-flute. C-flute is a durable material with flutes of 4mm in size, which results in a robust but lightweight product, perfect for easy set-up and durability.

The UV printing technique used on these entrance portals ensure sharply printed details that resist fading over time. Have your entrance portals delivered straight to your doorstep anywhere in South Africa.

Design Guidelines

Our entrance portals are brandable. Ensure that your brand image is visible whilst educating your customers and/or employees about Covid-19 in a responsible manner. Use high resolution imagery that will not pixelate on these large format products.

For the best results, use professional design software such as Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, or Illustrator. Also, ensure that your saved artwork file adheres to all of the items on the checklist for saving your artwork. If you are not comfortable with the respective design software, we recommend that you make use of our professional in-house design services. This is crucial, as a poor design can, in fact, harm the overall impact of your message and brand.

What is “bleed”?

Bleed is the area around your artwork that is trimmed off. This allows your design to look as if it was printed to the edge, even when the cutting alignment was slightly off. Your bleed should always extend to at least 3mm.

Product History

Outdoor advertising has been a highly popular method of promoting products and services for hundreds of years, where shop owners would paint advertisements on the sides of their premises. Printed advertising began in 1794 with the invention of Lithography, which made it possible to create posters.

Now, we pass brightly coloured printed outdoor advertisements in so many innovative locations on a daily basis. Traditional gable-ends, walls, fences, roadsides, buses and fields are still common, but now we see ads on places such as bridges over motorways, on people (sandwich boards or handheld boards), on roofs, on windows, entryways, on trailers attached to the back of a car… every outdoor surface can be turned into a space for printed outdoor advertising.
