Design Guidelines
Tent calendars should be kept as simple as possible. Branding can be achieved by choosing your brand colours for the colour scheme and including your logo and other company details. However, don’t forget to maintain the ultimate utility of the calendar, which is to get the date and upcoming important events at a glance.
For the best results, use professional design software such as Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, or Illustrator. Also, ensure that your closed artwork file respects all the items on the checklist for closing your artwork. If you are not comfortable with the respective design software, we recommend you employ the services of a design professional. This is crucial, as a poor design can, in fact, harm the overall impact of your branding.

Bleed is the area around your artwork that is trimmed off. This allows your design to look as if it was printed to the edge, even when the cutting alignment was slightly off. Your bleed should always extend to at least 3mm.
Product History
The history of calendars is the history of timekeeping. Calendars were used to keep track of days and larger divisions of time. Wikipedia has a long detailed account of this history. Tent calendars are a natural evolution of many calendar systems adopted as business stationery. These were intuitive space-saving innovations of other large format calendars, like deskpads. The display of 12 months split into 6 months on 2 panels made them a lot easier to accommodate on desks that became increasingly cluttered as industries evolved. Today, the tent calendar is one of the most popular calendar types in use in offices and homes.
